What do we need to do to begin services? Finding a private duty companion may seem overwhelming; which is why All Heart Senior Care makes the process as smooth as possible. Located in Sarasota, we will meet with any family members, caregivers, the client and perform an assessment of needs. A Registered Nurse is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to respond to your request for services. There is no charge for this consult, and services can begin as soon as several hours following the consultation.
How are caregivers selected by All Heart? All caregivers are interviewed by the company owner or hiring manager in Sarasota, and most are referrals from currently employed staff. All caregivers have a level 2 background check (AHCA regulated), screened, and provide references.
Will I be involved in choosing my caregiver? Absolutely! Once you are satisfied with the caregiver that will be assisting you, All Heart will do all we can to help foster your relationships with your caregiver.
Can you provide services in retirement communities? Yes, All Heart Senior Care provide services in retirement communities, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, as well as in your own home. We have built relationships with many long term care centers in Sarasota and Bradenton which allows us to provide services in a variety of settings.
Is there a minimum time limit for services? The minimum requirement for service is four hours. We have found that for best care, even for outings, or getting someone ready for the day, that the care often takes this amount of time. This also applies to client cancellations within 4 hours of the start of a scheduled shift.
What happens if I have a doctor’s appointment? Our caregivers may take you to your appointment in their car, or they may drive your car; whichever you prefer. If caregivers use their car then standard mileage rates may apply.
Who do I call if I have a question or concern? You may call the owner of the company directly or the contact the business office manager with any concerns or questions that you may have. We realize that you may have questions regarding your loved one and the care they are receiving, especially if you are not in the local area, and we welcome your call.
What are your rates? Our focus is on providing quality care for each of our clients. Our services are based on an hourly rate dependent on the care provided, and whether a Companion, Home Health Aide, or CNA is needed. In most cases the rate is determined during the in-home consultation.
Are your services covered by Medicare or insurance? All Heart Senior Care is not a Medicare agency, and our services are not covered through Medicare or other insurance carriers. We are a licensed private duty home health agency and our licensing/oversight body is the Agency for Healthcare Administration located in Tallahassee, Florida.
How do I pay for services? Services are billed either bi-weekly or monthly depending on the amount of care provided. The invoice includes a detailed accounting of care provided, the hours they provided care, and the cost of that care.
